Coronavirus: 5% of Kyrgyzstan’s population vaccinated out of planned 70%

Bishkek, July 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . 5% of Kyrgyzstan’s population has passed vaccination against COVID-19 coronavirus infection out of planned 70%, (2 million 118 thousand 417), taking into consideration priority groups (1 million 312 thousand 450).

According to the data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, 292 thousand 168 citizens of Kyrgyzstan have been vaccinated against COVID-19 as of July 22, and 101 thousand 639 of them have received the first and second doses of the vaccine.

In Kyrgyzstan, the national vaccination campaign began at the end of March 2021.

1,250,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine were received on July 11, of which 1,100,000 were bought at the expense of the republican budget and 150,000 doses were allocated as a humanitarian aid from China.
