Coronavirus Battle: Korean Embassy donates PPE to Kyrgyz Health Ministry

Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2020. /Kabar/. The Korean Embassy in Kyrgyzstan provided assistance to the Kyrgyz Internal Ministry in combating coronavirus infection by donating personal protective equipment for the staff of the Medical Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the ministry’s press service, due to the epidemiological situation in the country, the Korean Embassy handed over 100 pieces of protective suits, 450 pieces of protective goggles, as well as 150 pieces of shoe covers and 400 pieces of gloves. These personal protective equipment are intended for employees of the Internal Ministry’s Medical Department.

Expressing gratitude to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Head of the Internal Ministry’s Hospital Indira Abdygulova noted the protection of the employees of the Medical Department is above all. In turn, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is doing its best to create all necessary conditions for safe work.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs sincerely thanks the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Kyrgyz Republic for the helping hand in such a difficult time," the report says.
