Coronavirus claims 1,340 lives in Kyrgyzstan with 3 dying in past day

Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2020. /Kabar/. As of today, a total of 1,340 Kyrgyzstanis have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

The death toll of the country has increased by three new fatalities related to coronavirus reported by the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19: two in Bishkek city and one in Batken Oblast.

Kyrgyzstan country reported on Thursday 186 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 79,845.

Number of nationwide recoveries from the disease has climbed to 73,870 after 309 more patients have cured.

1,418 people are currently hospitalized across the country and 2,320 patients are receiving treatment at home.

According to the HQ, the republic conducted 3,263 coronavirus tests over the past day.
