Coronavirus claims two more lives in Kyrgyzstan, death toll reaches 1,358

Bishkek, Jan. 2, 1021. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, two more fatalities from coronavirus infection were recorded in the past day.

According to the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, the country’s total number of COVID-19 deaths has reached 1,358 with two new deaths registered in the capital city of Bishkek.

Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Saturday 58 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the country's total caseload to 81,214.

Number of recoveries from the disease has climbed to 76,351 after 203 more people cured over the past 24 hours.

According to the HQ, 985 people are currently hospitalized across the country and 1,604 patients are receiving treatment at home.

The country conducted 997 coronavirus tests over the past day.
