Bishkek, June 21, 2020. /Kabar/. In the past day, two more people died of coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said Sunday.
A man, 51, applied to the Railway Hospital in Bishkek.
"As a result of research, he was found to have severe COVID-19. The patient had bilateral pneumonia, acute respiratory failure of the third degree, pulmonary artery clots. The man spent 10 days self-medicating and taking antibiotics. His condition worsened, after which he was hospitalized. He has not any contact with anyone," Usenbayev said.
Another death from this respiratory disease was revealed in Tokmok hospital, Chui Oblast.
"A woman, 46, had tuberculosis, diabetes mellitus, pulmonary and cerebral edema. She had COVID-19," he added.
Kyrgyzstan’s COVID - 19 cases reached 3,151 on Sunday, including 170 new confirmed cases.
In total, 2,011 people throughout the country have cured of COVID-19.
COVID-19 death toll has reached 37.
528 people are still in hospitals, with 11 patients in intensive care units.
