Bishkek, May 28, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz health authorities reported that another 278 Kyrgyzstanis have cured of novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
According to the data from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, a total of 97,542 people in Kyrgyzstan have recovered from the disease since the beginning of the pandemic.
Kyrgyzstan reported on Friday 283 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 103,866.
The HQ also reported 7 virus-related deaths over the past day, taking the death toll to 1,788.
Meanwhile, 1,658 people are in hospitals across the country and 1,854 patients are receiving treatment at home.
The country conducted 5,028 COVID-19 medical tests during the last 24 hours.
Kyrgyzstan started mass vaccination for COVID-19 on March 29. About 80,000 people were vaccinated so far.
