Coronavirus’ Stat: Another 280 patients recover in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 18, 2021 . / Kabar / . In Kyrgyzstan, another 282 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have cured in the last 24 hours, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development of the republic Zhalalidin Rakhmatulaev said at a briefing Tuesday.

Thus, a total of 94,148 patients across Kyrgyzstan have recovered from the novel coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.

Kyrgyzstan recorded on Tuesday 234 new cases of COVID-19, raising the total in the country to 100,966.

The deputy minister added that 7 new virus-associated fatalities were recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the nationwide death toll to 1,718.

Currently, 1,605 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, including 86 in intensive care units, another 2,465 patients are receiving treatment at home.

5,594 PCR tests were conducted in Kyrgyzstan in the 24 hours period.
