Corruption planned to be reduced by 5-10% in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan.16, 2025. /Kabar/. The level of corruption is planned to be produced by 5-10% in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev said Thursday at a meeting with employees of the higher education system.

“According to the norms of the adopted Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amendments to Some Legislative Acts in the field of combating corruption” in 2025-2026, the State Committee for National Security plans to reduce the level of corruption in the country to 5-10 percent, today it is at the level of 30-40 percent, while in previous periods was a horrifying 70-80 percent,” Tashiev concluded.
