Subsistence level increases by 15% in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 14, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, the minimum subsistence level in the second quarter of 2020 was KGS 5,478.91 (about $70), and increased by 15.6% compared to the same period last year.

According to the press service of the National Statistics Committee, the growth of the subsistence level in April-June was observed in all regions of the country.

The structure of the minimum subsistence level is developed and approved individually for each socio-demographic group, according to which the share of food products (average for the population) is 65%, non-food products - 16 %, services - 17% and taxes - 2%.
