Bishkek, May 11, 2020 / Kabar/. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov will take part in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS member states in the form of video conferencing on May 12, 2020, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The heads of the foreign affairs agencies will discuss issues of interaction between the countries of the Commonwealth in the foreign policy, military and humanitarian spheres of activity. The parties will consider draft strategies for youth cooperation, tourism and sports development for 2021-2030. It is expected that the heads of delegations will take appropriate decisions on several draft agreements, in particular on the establishment of the Commonwealth Network University and the creation of the Joint Liaison of the Armed Forces of the CIS member states.
The participants in the meeting of the Council will also approve a number of draft documents that is submitted to the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS on May 29, 2020, which is also planned to be held in the form of video conferencing.
