Couple from Kyrgyzstan wins silver at tournament in sports ballroom dancing in Portugal

Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2018. / Kabar /. A dancing couple from Kyrgyzstan won silver at the international ballroom dancing tournament in Portugal, the ballroom dancing federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

WDSF World Open took place in Lisbon - Portugal-2018 on Feb. 24. It was attended by athletes from Italy, Bulgaria, Austria, France, Norway, Russia and other European countries – in total 53 couples from 15 countries.

In the category "Adults Latina (open class)" an adult dance couple from Kyrgyzstan Artem Semerenko and Valeriya Kachalko took second place and became the owner of a silver medal.

According to data of the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), the dance pair Semerenko and Kachalko, ranks 24th out of 2 567 pairs in the world ranking.
