COVID-19 detection and treatment in Bishkek is at high level compared to other regions

Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2022. / Kabar /. In Bishkek and Chui Oblast, detection and treatment of COVID-19 is at a high level compared to other regions.

In Chui Oblast, a coordination meeting of representatives of health care organizations was held on Friday, where the results of work for 2021 were summarized.

The event was attended by representatives of state bodies, Chui Oblast health coordinator and Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Uluk-Bek Bekturganov. The main topics of discussion were the progress of digitalization and strengthening the pace of vaccination of the population against COVID-19.

"In Bishkek and Chui Oblast, the detection and treatment of COVID-19 is at a high level compared to other regions. However, one of the main requirements is to maintain a stable epidemiological situation and to vaccinate the population. We asked the Ministry of Health and Chui Oblast Development Fund to make up for the lack of medical equipment and medicines. The ministry has already provided ambulances, but 16 more are needed. We hope that this issue will be resolved in the near future," said Baktygul Mamytova, the Director of the Chui Oblast Family Medicine Center and Chui Oblast Health Coordinator.
