Bishkek, July 29, 2020. /Kabar/. A group of doctors from Bashkiria, Russia has arrived in Issyk-Kul Oblast to assist Kyrgyz medical workers.
Bulat Bakirov, the head of Hospital Therapy Department No. 2 at Bashkir State Medical University and member of the Russian medical team said they are working in Issyk-Kul Oblast for the second day.
"According to plan, we should work in four hospitals. In one of these hospitals 100-150 patients are treated, so the work is difficult and hard. But we like working with Kyrgyz colleagues, they know their job, are highly qualified and professional," Bakirov noted.
Russian medical specialists, who have arrived in Kyrgyzstan on July 24 to assist in fight COVID-19 coronavirus infection, have left for the regions of the country according to the distribution.
To date, one group of specialists is working in Ak-Tala region (Naryn Oblast), one group in Ak-Suu region (Issyk-Kul Oblast), one group in Tokmok Territorial Hospital (Chui Oblast) and two groups have been sent to Osh and Dzhalal-Abad Oblasts.
