COVID-19: 11 Kyrgyz citizens quarantined in India

Bishkek, March 21, 2020./Kabar/.11 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are quarantined in Hyderabad, India, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus said.

According to the country's Foreign Ministry, at the moment all these citizens are isolated and will be checked for coronavirus.

The total number of coronavirus infected in Kyrgyzstan reached 14.

Earlier, 12 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the south of the country. One in Batken region, 8 in Suzak region and three in Nookat region.

2 cases were detected today in Bishkek.

A regular narrow format meeting of the Security Council was held on Saturday to discuss the current situation in the country, related to the coronavirus spread.

As a result of the meeting, the Kyrgyz Government declared a state of emergency throughout the country.
