Bishkek, Mar.21, 2020./Kabar/.Kyrgyz medicine is ready to withstand all conditions, Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Tolo Isakov said at a briefing today.
"We have enough forces and resources in case of single or mass infection. It is not correct to say that we are not ready to see, for example, 100 patients at once. The Kyrgyz healthcare system is ready for all conditions. We will act on previously developed an algorithm for action," he said.
The deputy minister noted Chinese specialists share their experience with Kyrgyz medics, adding that they already have experience in fighting this disease.
As of Mar.21, 12 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Kyrgyzstan.
Six of them have been detected today.
One case is in Batken region (Batken Oblast), five people are residents of Suzak region of Dzhlal-Abad Oblast.
Three were detected on Mar. 19 in Nookat region of Osh Oblast.
The first three infected in Suzak region Dzhalal-Abad Oblast became known on Mar. 18.
An emergency regime was declared in these areas. All the infected citizens have arrived from small Hajj (Umrah) in Saudi Arabia.
