Bishkek, Oct. 11, 2021 / Kabar /. The age distribution of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan is elder people, head of the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the country Ainura Akmatova told at a briefing.

She said that isolated cases of the disease are also detected among school-age children.

“There are 2-3 cases per day that are not related to school attendance, these are home contacts,” she said.

At the same time, Akmatova reminded parents that in case of symptoms in children, it is necessary to consult a doctor and not let the children go to school until they recover.

“In turn, patients and contacts must observe the isolation regime, otherwise it can lead to family foci and transmission of infection to sick relatives, colleagues, classmates and others,” she said.
