Bishkek, April 20, 2021. / Kabar / . In Kyrgyzstan, students will not take state exams, Kylym Sydyknazarova, a leading specialist of the Department of School and Extramural Education of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education told Kabar News Agency.
She added that due to the pandemic, pupils of the 9th and 11th grades will not take state exams this year. Grades will be given based on the annual results of the academic year.
Kylym Sydyknazarova noted that a special subject commission will be created to monitor the achievements of students during the year and, depending on the grades for the quarters, an examination grade will be assigned.
"This decision was made due to the epidemiological situation in the country related to coronavirus infection and in order to ensure the safety of students. If a student or his parents disagree with the grades, they can appeal to the appeals committee," the specialist said.
