According to the latest data from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, the country's total tally of infections has amounted to 172,090 since the outbreak of the virus.
In addition, 676 more coronavirus patients have cured in the past day, taking the total number of recoveries from the disease to 162,780.
7 new virus-related fatalities were recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the nationwide death toll to 2,446.
The HQ said that 2,125 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, and 3,328 people are receiving treatment at home.
