Bishkek, June 7, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, June 7, a board of Aeroflot - Russian Airlines on the Moscow - Bishkek route arrived in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, 460 citizens of Kyrgyzstan, including 68 children under 2 years old have been returned from Russia.
Also, today a board of Sibir (S7) on the Novosibirsk - Osh route arrived in the republic, which brought back 204 Kyrgyz citizens, including children.
This flight was performed in accordance with the instruction of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the ongoing work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens, located in foreign countries because of temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the world.
In view of the large number of people wishing to return to their homeland, the passenger lists for these flights were compiled by a Commission, consisting of representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora, doctors from Kyrgyz medical clinics in Moscow and representatives of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia.
"All those who arrived will be placed under surveillance (observation) to undergo appropriate medical procedures in accordance with the established procedure.
The work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens who are in foreign countries and wish to return to their homeland continues," the report says.
In addition, 16 citizens who were located in temporary detention centres for foreign administrative offenders in Altai Territory, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Kemerovo and Tomsk Oblasts have been also returned.
