COVID-19. New algorithm to enter Kyrgyzstan comes into force starting today

Bishkek, March 1, 2022 . / Kabar / . Updated rules for entry into Kyrgyzstan under COVID-19 conditions have come into force starting March 1, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said Tuesday.

Thus, while registration for a check-in/crossing the border, road transport must present to airline representatives/ staff of the sanitary control point the results of PCR test with a negative result for coronavirus, carried out within the last 72 hours from the time of sampling the test or a document certifying obtaining of COVID-19 vaccine (in paper or digital format).

Besides, persons with no clinical manifestations of coronavirus infection will be allowed on board.

In turn, the requirement of PCR test or certificate of vaccination does not apply to children under the age of 12 years inclusive, traveling with their parents (legal representatives).

"In case of expiration of the PCR test (72 hours) due to objective reasons related to flight, flight delay/transit movement, citizens of Kyrgyzstan, foreign nationals and stateless persons are required to undergo express testing at the airport," the report says.
