Bishkek, April 14, 2021 . / Kabar /. In the last 24 hours, another 161 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have cured in Kyrgyzstan.
The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, the country’s total number of recoveries from the respiratory disease has reached 86,313 since the first case was detected on March 18, 2020.
According to the report, 2 new virus-related fatalities were registered in the past day in Kyrgyzstan, taking the nationwide death toll to 1,534.
Kyrgyzstan registered 240 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the national tally to 90,839.
Currently, 968 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, including 40 in intensive care units, while another 1,058 patients are receiving treatment at home.
A total of 5,495 lab tests were conducted in the country over the past day.
