Two Kyrgyzstanis arrived from Saudi Arabia tested negative for COVID-19

Bishkek, Mar.21, 2020./Kabar/.The results of analyses of two residents of Ak-Suu region, Issyk-Kul Oblast who arrived from Saudi Arabia after a small hajj (Umrah) were released, director of the regional center of family medicine Mirbek Sagynbayev said during the meeting of the regional Headquarters on Counteraction to Coronavirus Spread.

According to him, their tests for coronavirus are negative.

As of Mar.21, 12 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Kyrgyzstan.

Six of them have been detected today.

One case is in Batken region (Batken Oblast), five people are residents of Suzak region of Dzhlal-Abad Oblast.

Three were detected on Mar. 19 in Nookat region of Osh Oblast.

The first three infected in Suzak region Dzhalal-Abad Oblast became known on Mar. 18.

All the infected citizens have arrived from small Hajj (Umrah) in Saudi Arabia.
