Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2020 / Kabar/. Those responsible for the dissemination of provocative materials will incur criminal liability strictly in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Thus, with regard to the appeal of the Civil Control Committee to unite the efforts of citizens and law enforcement agencies in the fight against aggression, threats, including threats of terrorism, the State Committee for National Security reports the following:
The State Committee for National Security and law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan, first of all, work to ensure national and public security. In particular, they closely interact with civil society, all organizations and public associations working in the field of ensuring the security, rights and freedom of citizens in the country.
Also, the State Committee for National Security has been entrusted with responsibilities to counter radicalism and terrorism. Measures are being taken to prevent cybercrimes, terrorist and other threats.
Currently, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with all law enforcement agencies, is carrying out coordinated work in this direction, thanks to which it is possible to timely neutralize threats to national and public security.
In this regard, the State Committee for National Security calls on everyone to refrain from spreading any provocative calls and to report possible facts of threats with specific facts to law enforcement agencies in order to take appropriate measures.
At the same time, the State Committee for National Security calls on both citizens and civil society activists to productive cooperation and interaction with the competent authorities in the interests of peace in the country.
The State Committee for National Security reminds that those guilty for the dissemination of provocative materials will incur criminal liability strictly in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
