Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2018. /Kabar/. A solemn event was held Sunday in the territory of 999 of CSTO Kant airbase, dedicated to the fifteenth anniversary of the formation of an aviation unit in Kant within the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
The commander of the aviation base congratulated the servicemen on this anniversary date and expressed gratitude to all the personnel for the personal contribution of each soldier to mainaining public peace and harmony on fraternal ground and wished success in military work.
The distinguished servicemen and civilian personnel of the military unit, on behalf of the leadership of the air base and the district command, were presented with certificates, departmental insignia of the Ministry of Defense and valuable gifts.
The celebration was attended by representatives of the clergy, veterans, command and staff of the air base.
At the completion of the official part at the air base for the military, their families and guests in Toytoev House of Culture of Kant, a concert program was presented by the largest artistic group of Russia and the USSR, Alexandrov Ensemble. The final part of the concert program was the launch into the sky of balloons with congratulations to the aviation unit.
