Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2023. / Kabar/. A cultural and educational center for children and youth with disabilities “Asman” was opened in Osh at the Meerim children’s educational center.
The event was attended by Deputy Mayor of Osh Nurbek Kadyrov, representatives of the city’s Education Department, the Department of Labor, Social Security and Migration, and the head of the Smile. KG Public Fund Larisa Kuznetsova, volunteers.
As part of the event, a meeting of the coordination council on disability issues at the mayor's office was held with the participation of partner organizations, sponsoring institutions, children and young people with disabilities and their parents.
In the cultural and educational center for children and youth with disabilities, the children with special educational needs and young people with disabilities will be able to develop skills for involvement in the business environment, receive new information, develop their creative and professional skills and create better conditions for independent living.
There are also planned activities for the socialization of this category of citizens, including training sessions, seminars, free consultations with a psychologist and lawyer.
