Culture Minister Kadyrbekov delivers speech at opening of Kyrgyz-Pakistani Business Forum

Bishkek, Dec. 12, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Culture Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov participated in the opening of the round table within the Kyrgyz-Pakistani Business Forum.

The Business Forum was held on Dec. 10-11 in Sheraton hotel in Bishkek, the press service of the Kyrgyz Culture Ministry said.

Addressing the round table, Minister Kadyrbekov noted the relevance of re-imaging the importance of the Great Silk Road (GSR) for the further development of Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation and dialogue between GSR countries, which is acquiring a new format in the light of the ongoing pandemic in the world.

In particular, it was emphasized that over the period covered, the Silk Road has transformed from a trade and economic route into a huge platform of continuous cooperation between peoples and countries on a wide range of issues, and coordinated actions will allow Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan to expand international and regional cooperation, having a fruitful impact on the recovery processes of the countries after the pandemic.
