Bishkek, May 25, 2021. / Kabar /. Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Kairat Imanaliev held a working meeting with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Kyrgyz Republic Rapil Zhoshybaev.
During the meeting, representatives of the two sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of culture, sports and youth, the press service of the Kyrgyz Culture Ministry reported.
The Kyrgyz minister told the Kazakh ambassador about earlier working meetings with the Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Aktota Raimkulova, noting the importance of implementing agreements on holding the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Kyrgyzstan, as well as individual events dedicated to Kyrgyz-Kazakh friendship with the participation of creative teams and cultural workers of Kazakhstan on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
Zhoshybaev suggested holding a book exhibition and other events as part of the forthcoming visit of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin to Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, the interlocutors discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of sports and youth, and also noted the significant role of the Kazakh diaspora in strengthening bilateral ties.
Following the meeting, Imanaliev wished Zhoshybaev success in his diplomatic mission.
