Culture Ministry advises Kyrgyz citizens not to go to China

Bishkek, Jan.28, 2020 /Kabar/. In connection with the spread of an epidemiological disease (coronavirus) in the territory of the People's Republic of China and the threat of its spread to other countries, the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic recommends citizens of Kyrgyzstan to refrain from tourist and business trips to China, especially to Wuhan city in Hubei province, until the situation stabilizes.

According to the ministry’s press service, as a precautionary measure, the Culture Ministry recommends traveling tourists and citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic:

- To clarify in advance the epidemiological situation in the host country;

- To wash hands thoroughly after visiting places of mass congestion and before eating;

- To use respiratory protection equipment (masks, etc.);

- Not to visit markets where animals, meat products and seafood are sold;

- To eat only thermally treated food, boiled and bottled water;

- Not to visit zoos, hippodromes, cultural events involving animals;

- Under no circumstances to allow self-treatment, immediately seek medical help.
