Bishkek, Apr. 15, 2020. /Kabar/. The curfew in Bishkek will run from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Commandant of the capital city of Bishkek, Deputy Interior Minister Almazbek Orozaliyev said during a session of the Kyrgyz Parliament.
MP Dastan Bekeshev asked what kind of easing and restrictions will be removed when the state of emergency is extended until Apr.30.
"A draft decree is ready. The curfew time will be reduced by two hours. While we are considering other areas, we'll make a decision later," Almaz Orozaliyev said.
Yesterday, Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov has signed a Decree on extending a state of emergency in the cities of Bishkek and Osh, Kara-Suu and Nookat regions of Osh Oblast and Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast until Apr. 30.
Also, a state of emergency has been introduced in Naryn town and At-Bashy region of Naryn Oblast.
According to President Jeenbekov's first Decree on state of emergency, movement for all citizens, except for those who are issued with a pass, namely internal affairs officers and medical and civil servants, was limited between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (night time).
