Currently 14 women work in patrol police in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2019. / Kabar /. 14 women work in the patrol police of the capital, Nur Satybaldiev, deputy chief of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He noted that the number of staff should be 811 people.

“To date, 261 employees work, including 14 women. At the second stage, 235 people are expected to be recruited, including 16 women and at the third stage, 26 women. Note that in case of a shortage of personnel, an open competition will be announced again,” said the deputy chief.

Kanat Dzhumagaziev, head of the Bishkek’s Central Internal Affairs Directorate, previously noted that crime and domestic violence have decreased in areas where patrol police are serving.

“The criminogenic situation in Bishkek’s some districts compared to the same period in 2018 has significantly decreased. There is also a decrease in recorded crimes by 15%, and car accidents - by 10%,” he said.
