Bishkek, Sept. 7, 2021. / Kabar /. The customs services of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, the press service of the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
As part of the participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in the 46th annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank, which took place on September 3-4, 2021 in Tashkent, Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic - Kubanych Shatemirov met with colleagues from Uzbekistan, headed by the Deputy Chairman of the State of the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Utkirzhon Kodirov.
During the meeting, topical issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including the issues of expanding information interaction with the involvement of the authorized tax authorities of the two countries, which is aimed at creating favorable conditions for participants in foreign economic activity.
In addition, the sides discussed the prospects for the pilot implementation of modern digital solutions in the field of customs regulation at the Dostuk-Avtodorozhniy checkpoint.
