He said that during the upcoming visit a number of meetings will be held, during which the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the economic bloc will be discussed.

“We are working on the preparation of the visit of our Minister of Industry and Trade, who will arrive in Bishkek with a delegation of entrepreneurs in April. We expect that two agreements on economic cooperation will be signed. We are making efforts to create official prerequisites for the development of what is most important – mutually beneficial ties at the enterprise level,” the diplomat shared.

In addition, he spoke about the conversation with President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, which took place after the Ambassador presented his credentials.

“The conversation I had with your President only confirmed what I came to Kyrgyzstan with, what I feel at all the meetings that I had here in Kyrgyzstan. The Czech Republic in Kyrgyzstan is well known, and people treat us very positively. In our relations there are historical moments that date back to the period of the war years, when Czech volunteers worked here in Bishkek. This period is well remembered. I understand that people still honor these years,” the ambassador said.

He stressed that the Czech Republic highly appreciates the achievements of Kyrgyzstan in the development of democracy and democratic institutions, which makes it possible for many industries to function.
