Dancers from Kyrgyzstan successfully perform at tournament in Russia

Bishkek, Feb. 28, 2019. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz team won two medals at the Latin Quarter Cup 2019 tournament in ballroom dancing in Russia.

The Federation of Dance Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the Kyrgyzstani dancers performed in Moscow on February 21-24, along with representatives from 19 countries and 36 regions of the Russian Federation. The number of participants was over 4 thousand couples.

In the category “RS Adults + Youth, Latin American Program” a couple of Farukh Mamadzhanov and Nadezhda Burau took second place, beating 183 duos.

Another dance couple, Alisher Seidaliev and Aziza Dzholdosheva, settled down on the third step of the pedestal, leaving behind more than 90 teams in the section “RS Rising Stars, Juniors 2 + 1, Latin American program”.
