Bishkek, Feb. 6, 2018. /Kabar/. The largest data center in Bishkek can serve both individuals and large companies, NSP CEO Mirbek Niyazov told journalists at the opening of the center.
He said that, the data center is responsible for the physical storage of equipment, no matter is it a switch, server or network equipment.
"We also guarantee the maintenance of the right temperature, moisture and uninterrupted power supply. Our center receives electricity from Toktogul HPP, Chakan HPP, and there are generators for emergency cases," he explained.
Niyazov added that the data center does not bear responsibility for storing information in the servers themselves.
The businessman also said that his company plans to expand its capabilities. NSP plans to attract customers from CIS countries as well.
In turn, deputy director of the company Ermek Niyazov said that the idea of building a data center appeared two years ago.
"It took a lot of time to write the project, select the site, prepare the documents. We built this data center from green field. Fortunately, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund responded to our proposal," said Ermek Niyazov.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund Oleg Kudyakov said that initially the NSP was granted $ 330 thousand. In general, the project is estimated at $ 1 million.
