Bishkek, Oct.21, 2019. /Kabar/. The Central Commission for Elections and Referendum has set the date of elections to the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) in 2020.
The parliamentary elections will be held on Oct. 4, 2020.
On Apr. 12, 2020 - regular elections for 30 local councils.
On Apr. 11, 2021 - elections for 418 local councils, including:
- elections of 386 councils, whose mandates expire in December 2020;
- election of 32 councils, whose term expires in May 2021.
Elections for 4 local councils will be held on Oct.10, 2021. April 2022 - 18 councils.
13 councils -in April 2023.
The total expenditure of the Election Commission in 2020 will amount to KGS 928 million, of which KGS 560 million - expenses for the elections of the Jogorku Kenesh, 60 million for the preparation of elections and local elections in April 2020 (31 councils).
KGS 197 million transfers from the budget of the State Registration Service to the budget of the Commission due to the transfer of powers on the voter list and identification, 100 million - the current budget of the Commission staff.
