Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan to be held in Uzbekistan in November 2022

Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2022. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Chyngyz Esengul uulu met with Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Murodjon Majidov.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the XXXVII meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS Member States, held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

At the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of culture, as well as the upcoming Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan in November 2022. Hope was expressed for the full support of the Uzbek side in holding the above-mentioned event.

In addition, Chyngyz Esengul uulu presented an action plan for 2022-2023 on the implementation of the Agreement between the Ministries of Culture of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, according to which the parties should exchange specialists in the field of archeology, museum work, restoration and protection of monuments.
