Bishkek, Mar. 22, 2019. /Kabar/. From March 25 to March 30, 2019, the XIV International Cultural Festival “Flowers of Russia”, a project of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, will be held in Bishkek, the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The festival program includes cultural and educational events and will introduce work of gifted children of Russia to the residents of Bishkek.
The project was created in 2013 to develop and strengthen international cooperation of Russia in the field of art and education. Over the years, the program of the Festival “Flowers of Russia” was presented in Prague, Vienna, Milan, Munich, Helsinki, Bratislava, Athens and other major cultural centers.
The festival program includes:
- a performance by one of the best children's theaters in Russia – the Domisolka musical theater (Moscow), which has repeatedly represented Russia at the largest international forums;
- master classes in acting and vocal skills;
- the performance of the children's theater “Kukolny Format” (multiple winner of the highest theatre award of Russia – the Golden Mask;
- exhibitions of artworks "Russia through the Eyes of a Child" and puppets;
- round tables with the participation of Russian and Kyrgyz teachers of children's art schools.
