Bishkek, May 16, 2024. /Kabar/. The Uzbek Cinema Days o have started in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The opening ceremony was attended by Director of the Cinematography Department of the Kyrgyz Republic AkzholtoiBekbolotov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Khurshid Mirzakhidova, a special delegation from Uzbekistan, cultural figures from both countries, representatives of the diaspora and the public.
In his congratulations to Akzholtoi Bekbolotov expressed that he was honored that such an event was being held on Kyrgyz soil, and emphasized that the cultural connection between filmmakers of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan has its own glorious history and continues to this day.
In turn, the ambassador noted that such events play a very important role in strengthening Kyrgyz-Uzbek friendly relations and cooperation in the field of cinema, and expressed deep gratitude to the organizers.
Afterwards, the participants were shown the film “Abdillo Oripov”, and at the end of the film the delegation was introduced.
