Death toll from COVID-19 reaches 1,122 in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's death toll from COVID-19 coronavirus infection has reached 1,122 on Thursday.

According to the latest report from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, 4 more virus-associated fatalities were recorded throughout Kyrgyzstan over the past 24 hours.

Thus, virus claimed lives of one person in Osh Oblast, one - in Batken Oblast and two people - in Bishkek city.

The republic has confirmed 54,006 coronavirus cases so far.

Number of nationwide recoveries has climbed to 46,726.

Currently, 2,919 patients with COVID-19 coronavirus infection are receiving treatment in hospitals across Kyrgyzstan, and 2,745 - at home.
