Bishkek, July 26, 2024 . / Kabar / . A decrease in the number of road accidents is observed in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Thus, the internal affairs bodies are implementing a set of measures aimed at improving the effectiveness of work in the field of road safety.
For 6 months of 2024, the total number of road accidents decreased by 0.8%, fatalities by 6.7% and injuries by 4.0%.
Of these, road traffic accidents involving children decreased by 7.3%, the number of fatalities by 14.3%, the number of injured children by 11.9%, the number of road traffic accidents with severe consequences decreased by 33.3%.
