Bishkek, Oct. 19, 2021 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed decrees on admission to citizenship and on renunciation of citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the head of state reported.
Thus, according to decrees, 1,207 people (820 - adults and 387 - children) received Kyrgyz citizenship. Most of the new citizens of the country are ethnic Kyrgyz who have returned to their historical homeland.
Also, one decree is on renunciation of citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic for 53 people (45 - adults and 8 - children).
