Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2020. /Kabar/. Chief of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces Taalaibek Omuraliyev met on Friday with Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen.
According to the General Staff’s press service, at the beginning of the meeting Omuraliyev noted the high level of Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation based on principles of mutual trust and respect.
He also expressed gratitude through Ambassador Dewen to the People’s Republic of China for the military medical assistance provided during the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
The sides held a thorough dialogue and exchanged views on topical issues and areas of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation.
The meeting participants expressed readiness to strengthen further bilateral military contacts in the field of defense to ensure stability and security of the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, Chief of the General Staff Taalaibek Omuraliyev once again confirmed the interest in developing and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between defense agencies of Kyrgyzstan and China.
