Taiyuan, Sept. 16, 2018. /Kabar/. The International Energy Industry Expo 2018 opened on Sunday in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, China.
The organizer of the exhibition is the Ministry of Commerce of China, Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and the People's Government of Shanxi province.
Officials and experts in energy of such countries as China, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Ireland, France, Korea, USA, Hungary, and Kyrgyzstan have been invited to the event.
Delegation from Kyrgyzstan is led by member of Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament), member of Kyrgyzstan-China friendship group Kubanychbek Nurmatov. It also includes Governor of Jalal-Abad oblast Kyianbek Satybaldiev, Mayor of Kara-Kul Ilyas Erkeyev, Head of Jalal-Abad interregional department of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy Saparbek Bagyshev, Director of Hydroproject Planning and Survey Institute Janybek Jancharov, Adviser of the Jalal-Abad oblast governor Anara Nurmatova, Investments Adviser of the Jalal-Abad oblast governor Tian Hue, and Adviser of the member of Jogorku Kenesh Zamirbek Imanbekov.
Mayor of Kara-Kul Ilyas Erkeyev noted that it is a very important event, where latest technologies and achievements in energy industry are presented.
“Our city can be called energetical. There is one of the major hydroelectric power plants in Central Asia - Toktogul HPP in our city, which generates over 80% of all the electricity in the country. Today most countries in the world are upgrading their energy industry. Employment and introduction of modern technologies in the energy field will favorably influence the development of this branch”, he said, and added that it would be good if representatives of energy institutions of the country participated in similar events.
At the exhibition dozens of companies of Shanxi province presented their achievements and inventions in the fields of energy, environmental protection, energy conservation, innovative technology, emissions reduction, as well as coal, chemical, mining, processing industry.
Within the exhibition, there also will be Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum, where experts will discuss emissions reduction.
