Bishkek, Jan.17, 2020 /Kabar/. Bishkek Deputy Mayor for Social Policy Tatyana Kuznetsova met with a delegation of the Headquarters for the Promotion of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games in Japan, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.
The delegation was headed by Ryosuke Ando, Assistant Director, Secretariat of the Headquarters for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Cabinet Secretariat.
"On Dec.13 the Japanese Government presented special equipment to the municipality within the framework of non-project grant assistance. Bishkekasfaltservis State Enterprise received three road rollers at once.
Bishkek Mayor’s Office is actively cooperating with the Embassy of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the report says.
The 2020 Summer Olympics officially known as the Games of the XXXII Olympiad and commonly known as Tokyo 2020 or the Recovery Olympics, is an upcoming international multi-sport event that is scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020 in Tokyo, Japan, with preliminary events in some sports beginning on 22 July.
