Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2018. /Kabar/. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the Kingdom of Belgium hosted a reception on the occasion of the visit of the delegation of the Kyrgyz Society of the Blind and Deaf. The visit of the delegation was organized by the Embassy with the financial aid of the Flemish Deaf Society.
During the visit, it is planned to discuss the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Flemish Deaf Society to Kyrgyzstan on June 4-10, 2017, in particular, teaching the members of the Kyrgyz Society of the Blind and Deaf the international sign language with the aim of communicating with the deaf from other countries will be discussed, exchange of specialists-teachers for the introduction of modern methods of teaching the deaf in the republic, as well as the membership of the Kyrgyz Deaf Society in the World Federation of the Deaf and participation in the General Assembly and the WFD World Congress in Paris in 2019
In addition, within the framework of the visit, the delegation from Kyrgyzstan will take part in the celebrations of the 24th anniversary of World Deaf Day in Kortrijk, West Flanders, where the Kyrgyz delegation will give information about the life of people with disabilities in the republic.
