Bishkek, April 5, 2022. / Kabar /. Delegation of Kyrgyzpatent headed by Director of Kyrgyzpatent Rahat Kerimbaeva visited today the Main Copyright Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
The press service of Kyrgyzpatent reported that the delegation was met by Director General of the Turkish Copyright Office Ziya Tashkent.
The visit took place as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Turkey in the field of copyright and related rights (in Ankara on June 9, 2021).
Within the framework of this meeting, the delegation of Kyrgyzpatent got acquainted with the activities of the Main Directorate for the Protection of Copyright and Related Rights, in particular, the system of certification of works, the activities of professional associations, issues of copyright protection on the Internet, and stimulation of authors' creativity.
The sides also discussed issues in the development of the creative industry and educational systems of this department.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in these areas, as well as to hold joint conferences, round tables and training programs.
