Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2018 / Kabar /. An official visit of the delegation of Shanghai University of Political Sciences and Law headed by rector Liu Xiaohong took place at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the Academy reported.
In his welcoming speech, Rector of the Kyrgyz Academy Almaz Nasyrov thanked the Chinese delegation for the visit and noted that stable partnership in the field of education and science were established between the universities and outlined new areas of cooperation: exchange of faculty for the implementation of master's programs, cooperation in research management and economics.
Rector of the Shanghai University of Liu Xiaohong said that she would take all possible steps to expand and strengthen cooperation between universities.
The sides exchanged views on the upcoming plans of activities in the field of education and science and wished successful development of joint cooperation. In the framework of the monitoring meeting and on the results of cooperation, Liu Xiaohong was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Academy.
Following the visit, the Chinese side invited the Rector of the Kyrgyz Academy to visit the Shanghai University of Political Sciences and Law with a return visit in 2019.
