Bishkek, Aug. 15, 2022 / Kabar /. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Tajikistan Erlan Abdyldaev met in Dushanbe on Aug. 12 with Chairman of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of Tajikistan - the head of the topographic working group of the government delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border Orif Khodjazoda.
During the meeting the sides discussed and exchanged views on the activities of the topographic working groups of the government delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, according to the Foreign Ministry.
Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Abdyldaev confirmed the readiness of the Kyrgyz side to implement the agreements reached by the heads of state of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on July 21, 2022 in Cholpon-Ata to intensify the negotiation process on border issues.
In turn, chairman of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan Khodjazoda expressed the readiness of the Tajik side to organize the next meeting of topographic working groups on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.
