Bishkek, Apr. 3, 2019. /Kabar/. Deputies of the Parliament put forward demands before the Government of the country to consider the issue of social security of citizens living in "special" sites, deputy Tabyldy Tillaev told journalists.
Today the issue of the situation at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border is being considered in the Parliament with the participation of Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev. The meeting is taking place behind closed doors.
According to Tillaev, first of all the Government was asked to solve the issues of roads and the social package. “In addition, they instructed to amend the law on villages that received border status in the near future so that the pensions of residents were doubled and the citizens were exempt from taxes,” Tillaev said.
The parliamentarian added that he had been to Batken oblast and stated that the situation there was stable.
