Deputies of current convocation will work till first meeting of next one - MP

Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2020. /Kabar/. Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the sixth convocation will work till the first meeting of deputies of the seventh convocation, MP from Ata Meken faction Omurbek Tekebaev told reporters.

Deputies of the sixth convocation took the oath on Oct. 28, 2015.

In Kyrgyzstan, elections of the seventh convocation deputies were held on Oct. 4, 2020.

However, later, on Oct. 6 the republic's Central Elections Commission recognized the results of elections invalid.

According to the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, repeated elections should be held within two months.
